Predictive maintenance the easy way – provided that the connected LED drivers are DALI-2 certified and also prepared for the DiiA specifications, Parts 251 to 253 (luminaire information, energy consumption and predictive maintenance). The DALI Pro 2 IoT light management system from OSRAM is able to push the required data into a cloud via the built-in gateway. Authorized users have access to this data from anywhere in the world via internet connection.
Depending on the data available, the EM/MA (Energy Monitoring and Maintenance Assistant) dashboard helps to navigate, monitor and optimize the lighting installation. It displays the energy consumption and the operating hours of the drivers as well as luminaire data (optional). If required, the built-in REST API interface allows the connection to a third-party cloud service and the programming of a customized dashboard.
The DALI Pro 2 IoT is already DALI-2 certified and meets all of today’s requirements for professional and efficient light management.
Once installed, commissioning can be done in an intuitive way, either through the browser-based user interface via the mobile App/Wi-Fi (“Easy Mode”) or, for more demanding applications, via notebook/LAN, using the PC tool (“Integrator Mode”). Pre-defined profiles and drag-and-drop functionality make “Easy Mode” the right choice for on-site commissioning using the mobile App on a handheld smart device.
Furthermore, the DALI Pro 2 IoT can be integrated into KNX building management systems via the KNX IF 250 interface from OSRAM. In this way a bidirectional data exchange is realized for centralized functions such as switching and dimming as well as individual lighting control.
