Rebranding – What will change for you at T4T
As part of our rebranding, our products will now feature new labels with the Inventronics logo and updated GTIN/EAN/NAED identifiers. While the performance and functionality of the products remain unchanged, you may come across identical products with different labeling.
To make this transition as smooth as possible, Tuner4TRONIC now includes a dual GTIN feature in both product search and family programming.
Searching for a driver
- Each driver has a new GTIN identifier and an additional link to its former OSRAM GTIN.
- You can search by product name, Basic Code, new Inventronics GTIN, or old OSRAM GTIN.
- The system will return accurate results and also show the legacy GTIN for reference.
Reading a driver
- With T4T Production 4 (P4), the driver is correctly recognized whether you use the old or new GTIN.
Programming with new or old production files
- You can use both new Production Files (PFs) with Inventronics GTINs and legacy OSRAM PFs in Family Programming.
- Both will work with drivers labeled under either brand.
- Starting with version 4.6.2, P4 includes a faster detection mechanism that programs the driver directly without requiring PF conversion.
Mobile application (T4T Field)
- From version 2.3.0 onward, T4T Field supports dual GTIN recognition after an update and database sync – recognizing both Inventronics and OSRAM identifiers.
Using legacy Tuner4TRONIC Versions (3.x)
- T4T Development 3.x and Production 3.x are no longer supported and will not receive the dual GTIN update.
- Existing installations will continue to work with downloaded OSRAM ddfiles.
- New installations will only receive Inventronics ddfiles – legacy OSRAM files will not be available.
- We strongly recommend migrating to the latest T4T versions, available on our website.
